�� Würstelstand Hoher Markt (Sausage
stand Hoher Markt) —— Typical sausage
stand (Würstelstand) in the very centre
of Vienna. Open practically around
the clock. Here all the different sausages
are available: Frankfurter, Debreziner,
Käsekrainer Waldviertler, to name a
few. Choose between hot or sweet mustard
and between a semmel (bun) or
schwarzbrot (brown bread). Soft drinks,
alcohol and sweets as well. Later, when
night flyers are on their way home, a
sausage stand like this can present you
with an intimate insight into Vienna’s
soul.

right in the middle of the vineyards of
the Kahlenberg and offers superior
views of Vienna, the Danube, and the
Bisamberg from its terrace; on clear days

�� Loos Bar —— Rumour has it that
Adolf Loos constructed this splendid
bar in 1908 for his son who liked to
drink a glass or two. The bar is only
around 25 m2 in size, but with its careful
use of mirrors it looks much bigger.
The interior is first class with illuminated
onyx and deep leather couches
and gives the bar an, if not lascivious,
at least a lovingly decadent touch. The
Loos Bar is hands down one of the best
places in Vienna for a cocktail.
