Recognized by the large thin-textured lamina, often with<br />

twisted pinnae; plants often show hybrid vigour. For the most<br />

part it is intermediate between the parents, preferring base-rich<br />

rocks or as an epiphyte within reach of salt-laden winds. (See<br />
