Welcome to Mountain Home, Texas, home of the Historic Y.O. Ranch.
Longhorn Cattle have been a part of this Ranch since 1880 and having you
being a part of this event is a great pleasure to the Schreiner family and to
the guest consignors of this year’s sale.
Putting the Y.O. Ranch Fall Sale together brings a different way to market
Texas Longhorn cattle. The auction method of selling cattle is not new,
but bringing together guest consignments along with spotlighting the ranch,
the facilities, the cattle, and ultimately the program right here on the ranch
gives potential buyers a fresh look at what it takes to being a registered Texas
Longhorn cattle breeder.
The Y.O. Ranch influence in the registered Texas Longhorn breed has been
going on since 1964 when registrations were first being collected. This year
the Y.O. Ranch along with the Allen Ranch influence is available with 24
lots of great Longhorn cattle. 24 guest consignors have also brought you their
very best in heifers and pairs to be a valuable part of this sale.

1. BIDDING: Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve.
2. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any
disputes as to bids, and his decisions shall be final.
3. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, check, wire transfer, and preapproved
billing. Checks are to made payable to: Lemley Auction
Services.
4. POSSESSION: Immediately after lot is sold, it will be the sole risk
and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained
by him until payment is made.
5. HEALTH: On sale animals, Texas State Health Requirements
should be considered by bidders before purchasing.
6. GUARANTEE: Guarantees are strictly between individual
consignor and the purchaser at the sale.
7. NOTICE: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of
all guarantees and representation made hereunder.
8. REPRESENTATION: The auctioneer is acting as an agent of
the seller and all representations made by the auctioneer are made on
behalf of the seller. The auctioneer is not responsible for the acts or
representation of the seller. Any action or recourse will be directed to
the seller and not to the auctioneer.
9. ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements from the auction block
shall take precedence over information printed in the catalog.
10. LIABILITY: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own
risk. Sale manager and anyone connected with the sale assume no
liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur.
11. CONTRACT: The above terms and guarantees shall constitute a
contract between the buyer and seller of each lot sold.
12. TRANSPORTATION: Delivery of purchased lot at buyer’s
expense can be arranged by seller.
13. OFFICIAL PAPER WORK: Official load out paper work will be
submitted to the buyer when payment is received. All official paper
work for scratched lots and pull out will not be handed out on
sale day. Paper work will be mailed after sale day.
