Gulfstream Natural Gas System is a<br />

691-mile natural gas pipeline placed<br />

into service in May 2002. During offshore<br />

construction, Gulfstream implemented<br />

mitigation projects that mimic<br />

nature and moved thousands of octocorals<br />

and sponges out of pipeline corridors.<br />

The company supports<br />

graduate student research and a volunteer<br />

benthic monitoring program in<br />

Tampa Bay.<br />
