adjacent to the Education
Center exhibits in Hall A, during
exhibit hours. Schedule

SPECIAL EXHIBIT
Our Reefs:
Caribbean
Connections
Our Reefs: Caribbean Connections,
a traveling exhibit, will
form the centerpiece of the Education
Center display area.
This is produced by Florida
State University, updated from
the Smithsonian Tropical Research
Institute’s previous traveling
exhibit by its original
creators, Drs. Judith Lang and
Janie Wulff. Veteran ICRS attendees
will remember the
original exhibit which premiered
at the 8th ICRS in
1996. In stunning visual display,
this exhibit explores
major current challenges to regional
reefs and showcases various
local Caribbean responses.
This special exhibit is open to
the public in Hall A, during exhibit
hours.
FIELD TRIPS
To make a reservation for a postmeeting
field trip (space permitting),
visit the registration desk
located in Hall A for more details.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
SERVICES
Lunch will be served from 12:00 –
2:00PM. Full registrants receive
one lunch ticket per day registered.
The tickets may be used at any of
the designated food stations located
in first floor Hall A and Lobby
A areas (map on pages 22 and 23).
The lunch vouchers have a $10
value and include lemonade or
iced tea. Anything purchased
above the $10 value will need to
be paid by the attendee. Change
will not be given for unused portion.
There are two types of food stations:
11th ICRS Standard Lunch
and Concessions.

These offer hamburgers, hot dogs,
chicken tenders and other madeto-order
items. Menu items, including
drink are $10 or less.
Throughout the day, coffee and
other pre-packaged items, including
sandwiches, can be purchased
at the concessions in the Lobby A
area.
INTERNET CAFÉ and
WIRELESS
Various internet options are available
throughout the convention
center with 3 wireless access areas
and 2 internet cafés. Complementary
wireless access areas are located
on the 1st and 3rd floors of
the convention center, specifically
in Exhibit Hall B, 1st floor corridor

near room 124 and 3rd floor
Floridian Ballroom foyer. Internet
Café computer stations are located
in Hall A and on the 1st floor at the
Breezin’ Java food café. A laptop
charging station is located in the
back of Hall B to allow you to work
while recharging your laptop.
Complimentary internet access is
available in the Exhibit Hall from
Monday, July 7 through Friday,
July 11.
Separate computer stations are set
up for access to the electronic version
of the Abstract Book. Please
be mindful of the other attendees
and limit your computer time to 10
minutes. You can always come
back later if you need more time.
ISRS BOOTH
The International Society for Reef
Studies will have a booth in Exhibit
Hall A, booth #603.
LITERATURE SHARING
TABLE
Non-profit organizations may utilize
the Resource Sharing Area located
in the Educational Center.
Complimentary table space will be
provided for a maximum for two
items per organization of informational,
educational, or outreach
materials of interest to educators,
students, and the general public.
Materials not approved by the Education
Center Committee (ECC)
may be removed and disposed of
without notice. For approval details,
please visit the Meeting Management
Office in Room 221.

events, airport shuttles, and
taxi service please visit the Fort
Lauderdale Convention and Visitors
