Selection Criteria for SLYP 2008-2010<br />
Eligibility<br />
• Age: 16-25 as of 31 st March 2008<br />
• Not previously a participant with SLYP (an ‘action partner’)<br />
• Available to attend a 6 day event in September/October 2008 in Colombo, <strong>Sri</strong> <strong>Lanka</strong><br />

• Analytical and Organizational ability<br />
• Community or organizational support<br />
Diversity Criteria<br />
• Balanced number of males and females from a diversity of communities and backgrounds.<br />

Over the three years opportunities will arise that will be relevant to you and what you<br />
are doing in your community / area. You can choose which activities to participate in.<br />
You are not required to engage with the SLYP for a set amount of time each week,<br />
month or year. You are simply encouraged to contribute and share your learning<br />
