SELECTED WORKSOn the Line: Conservationand CreationDedicated to the conservation and creationof audiovisual archives as part of theredefinition and cultural rememberanceof Matera, Italy due to the city’s long-standingtradition in film. A constellation of spacesalong a line with diverse interactions with therock and the gravina is proposed. The projectthat houses archive rooms, a multimedialibrary, an open air theatre, an atelier for artistsand youth, and cafe. All with the sole objectiveof allowing historical recolection and creation.Due to the nature of the cave-like structuresand the dramatic canyon it lies next to, geographicalelements heavily influenced thecomposition and development of spaceswithin the project.
