Est 1812: Kinghorn Golf Course<br />
Golf was played at Kinghorn starting in 1812, and in<br />
1887, Old Tom Morris laid out the original 9-hole track. A<br />
fascinating letter from John Hutton to Alexander Orrock<br />
states that Golf is not how you play but more about the<br />
company one wishes to spend the afternoon with. 18<br />
holes and is open to the public.<br />
Est 1817: Scotscraig Golf Course<br />
Scotscraig Golf Course was founded in 1817 when<br />
members of the group that later became the R&A (Royal<br />
& Ancient) needed a place to play more golf. Two of the<br />
game's legendary course designers, Old Tom Morris and<br />
James Braid, guided the design of the championship<br />
course. 18 holes and is open to the public.<br />
