How long will it take me to achieve a PgC?
• The PgC programmes take approximately 2 years to complete. The Small Animal Surgery
Consolidated Learning Programme is approximately 6 months and to achieve the PgC
certification is 12 months.
What will my time and travel commitments be?
• Face to Face Programmes: There are monthly theory attendance sessions. The practical
sessions are two consecutive full days.
• Online Format: There is no travel required, you can progress at your own pace in your
own time.
• Blended Format: All the theory sessions are online so you will not be required to travel.
The practical sessions will be on five consecutive full days.
What assessments and exams will I have to complete
to achieve the Postgraduate Certificate?
Our assessments and exams have been designed to ensure that you have been challenged
in your learning and that it has been embedded to enable you to go back to practice with
new skills and knowledge that you can confidently implement.
• Case Logs
• Online Applied Knowledge Examination (OAKE)
