The 3rd Medical <strong>Wellness</strong> Congress focused<br />

on ‘Vitality: the key to longevity’. Held at St.<br />

Martins <strong>Spa</strong> & Lodge in Austria, a luxurious<br />

property at the edge of a national park,<br />

gathering leading experts in medicine,<br />

wellness, and hospitality.<br />

Award-winning architect Hadi Teherani<br />

presented Atmosphere by Krallerhof, a newly<br />

built longevity-themed spa in Austria. He<br />

explained how architectural elements like<br />

form, color, and materials, can significantly<br />

influence health.<br />

Tom Middleton, an award-winning composer,<br />

and sensory designer introduced the White<br />

Mirror philosophy, a wellness innovation<br />

consultancy. He presented cases for<br />

'Experience as Medicine', integrating<br />

NeuroArts -the study of how art and<br />

aesthetic experiences transform body, brain<br />

and behavior -with technology and sensory<br />

design to enhance health and well-being,<br />

including:<br />

• Digital therapeutics: using spatial sleep<br />

music and soundscapes via apps to<br />

enhance sleep quality<br />

• The NeuroArts Effect: just 45 minutes<br />

of exposure to NeuroArts lowers stress<br />

hormones and increases productivity by 30%<br />

Joanna Bensz, CEO and co-founder of<br />

Longevity Center, highlighted key metrics<br />

from her ‘story of transformation’:<br />

• CardioAge: measures resting pulse rate,<br />

blood pressure, and V0 2<br />

max<br />

• GlycanAge: analyzes glycans on<br />

immunoglobulin G (IgG) to asses agingaccelerating<br />

or youth-promoting properties<br />

• CognitiveAge: combines blood-based<br />

biomarkers and cognitive tests to evaluate<br />

mental resilience and cognitive condition<br />

• EpigeneticAge: DNA test to measure the<br />

impact of lifestyle on genetic expression<br />

• TelomereAge: measures telomere<br />

shortening is a hallmark of both cellular<br />

senescence and organismal aging<br />

• DunedinPACE: DNA methylation<br />

biomarker assessing aging pace<br />

• PulmoAge: measures pulmonary function,<br />

a significant biomarker after 40<br />

Prof. David Della Morte Conosci, medical<br />

director of Palazzo Fiuggi, collaborated<br />

with Chef Beck, a renowned nutrition and<br />

naturopathy expert, to develop unique<br />

menus rich in micronutrients that activate<br />

protective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory<br />

molecular pathways in our body.<br />

Christine Clinton, founder of Christine Clinton<br />

Cancer Care, discussed the crucial topic of<br />

‘achieving vitality after a cancer diagnosis’.<br />

She emphasized the effectiveness of<br />

combining touch and touchless methods to<br />

promote health.<br />

Hannes Illmer, owner and director of Villa<br />

Eden, addressed the transformation of<br />

a hospitality establishment into one of<br />

the world’s top retreat hotels. Villa Eden<br />

integrated wellness with medical, shifting<br />

from Kurhotel to Luxury Health Retreat,<br />

adopting a holistic approach of regeneration,<br />

prevention, and performance programs and<br />

transitioning from generic services to hyperpersonalized<br />

programming.<br />

A panel explored advanced touch and<br />

touchless solutions, highlighting their<br />

potential to improve life quality and lifespan.<br />

Vibroacoustic non-tactile solutions help<br />

with sleep improvement, stress reduction,<br />

blood pressure, pain management and<br />

limbic system regulation. Some solutions<br />

synchronize music with therapists'<br />

movements for a choreographed therapy<br />

with music and touch.<br />
