Este fin de semana de tres días promueve el
Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU
de ‘buena salud y bienestar para todos’. Su
mapa, disponible en 18 idiomas, presenta
actividades en 150 países con 9,000 sedes
que abrirán sus puertas. La World Wellness
WebTV ofrecerá actividades de bienestar
en línea, como sesiones de entrenamiento,
charlas inspiradoras, seminarios web y
talleres a los que los participantes podrán
unirse remotamente.

SEPTEMBER 20-22
This 3-day weekend promotes the UN
Sustainable Development Goal of ‘good
health and wellbeing for all’. Its map,
available in 18 languages, features
activities across 150 countries with
9,000 venues opening their doors. The
World Wellness WebTV will provide
online wellness activities such as training
sessions, inspiring talks, webinars,
and workshops for participants to join
remotely.

SPA Y BIENESTAR 2025
Las nominaciones a los premios 2025 están
abiertas a profesionales de la industria del spa
y bienestar de todo el mundo. Las categorías
disponibles incluyen: equipo del año, líder de
spa del año, spa sostenible del año, destino
mundial de salud y bienestar del año, y spa
del año para Asia y Australasia, Europa,
Oriente Medio y África, y Norteamérica y
Sudamérica.
Las nominaciones son gratuitas y estarán
abiertas hasta el 12 de julio de 2024. Los
ganadores serán premiados en Londres el 3
de marzo de 2025.

ENTRIES
The 2025 awards nominations are open
to professionals in the spa and wellness
industry across the world. The categories
available include; Team of the Year, Spa
Leader of the Year, Sustainable Spa of
the Year, Worldwide Health & Wellness
Destination of the Year, and spa of the
year for Asia & Australasia, Europe, Middle
East & Africa, and North & South America.
Nominations are free of charge and will be
open until July 12, 2024. Winners will be
honored in London on March 3, 2025.

El Instituto Global del Bienestar, en
colaboración con el desarrollador de bienes
raíces de bienestar AG7, actualizó el informe
Geografía del Bienestar de Brasil.
Brasil tiene una economía del bienestar
valorada en 96,000 millones USD,
representando el 5% de su PIB, situándolo
12º lugar mundial y el 1º entre los 46 países
de América Latina y el Caribe medidos por
GWI. El país también ocupa el 5º puesto
mundial en el mercado de belleza y cuidado
personal, con 39,000 millones USD; el 6º en
alimentación sana, nutrición y pérdida de
peso, con 31,000 millones USD; y el 8º en
aguas termales y minerales, con 800 millones
USD.

The Global Wellness Institute, in
collaboration with the wellness real
estate developer AG7, updated Brazil’s
Geography of Wellness report.
Brazil boasts a wellness economy valued
at $96 billion USD, comprising 5% of
its GDP, ranking it 12th globally and
1st among the 46 Latin American and
Caribbean countries measured by GWI.
The country is also ranked 5th worldwide
for its $39 billion USD beauty and personal
care market; 6th worldwide in the healthy
eating, nutrition, and weight loss sector
with USD 31 billion; and 8th in thermal and
mineral springs with $0.8 billion USD.
