It’s that time of year where many of us
are still on vacation, but as we get to
the end of the month those with children
begin to think about Back-to-
School shopping.
We hope that when that time comes

neighborhood.
July is also the time that we celebrate our independence. Please stay
safe during this holiday.
We are continuing our introduction to department heads at City
Hall. This issue will feature Shane Davis, Director of Urban and
Economic Development. Over the next several months we will feature
various department heads. With so many new people moving
into South Huntsville, we think it would be a great idea for everyone
to get to know these administrators.
Our cover feature is Phillip and Shellie Smith. Phillip is retired from
the Marine Corps and Shellie is a retired military spouse. Together
they own SUNMED in Whitesburg Plaza.
