Between incorporatingnew color trends for an up-to-date look and simply coveringdirty walls & scuffs for a fresh feel, paint is truly transformative.Always use a high quality paint like Benjamin Moore at HuntsvilleDecorating Center, you’ll get better coverage, smooth application, ahigher pigment content and it will hold up over time, which in turn, will save you money.• If your home feels dark and dingy, go lighter and brighter. If itspale and feels boring, opt for rich and saturated hues.• You don’t have to paint an entire room, try an accent wall orpaint built-in’s, a brick fireplace or a mantle. Painting your interiordoors a different color than the trim can deliver a lot ofstyle.• If your kitchen cabinets are in good shape but dated, considerpainting them a color to complement the space instead of replacingthem entirely.• Think about painting the exterior to boost curb appeal! You cando minor tweaks by painting the front door, trim and shutters orgo all in and paint the brick.Cabinet Hardware - Changing out the hardware on cabinets anddoors can make a world of difference and its a budget friendly option.Brushed gold, matte black and polished chrome will remainpopular in the new year.Flooring - Replacing your flooring might be one of the pricier options, but it’s a great investment and will significantly impact theoverall aesthetic of your home.
