In October audienceswill travel from Kansas to Oz and back again with a fresh adaptationof The Wonderful Wizard of Oz based on the L. Frank Baum storiesthat inspired the 1939 MGM blockbuster. Dorothy (and her littledog too) must follow the yellow brick road to learn the true meaningof home! In December, we will soar with Ebenezer Scrooge throughthe streets of London Town for our 35th-anniversary production ofA Christmas Carol, one of Huntsville's favorite holiday traditions.In the spring, our audiences will travel back to the Nysland Woods– The next story of this all-original FPCTA series will follow theuntold story of Sleeping Beauty and the Big Green Pea. In this hilariousromp, a sleepy royal meteorologist, Rumplestiltskin, and 12dancing princesses get tangled in the same adventure. Rounding outthe season of wonder is James Sie's whimsical adaptation of theclassic novel A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Public andspecial field trip performances will be available for all productionswith open auditions for each show. FPCTA Announces its 64th Season!

The magic continues on the Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater
& Academy’s (FPCTA) mainstage with new world premiere plays,
fantastical adventures, and literary classics. In October audiences
