President’s message
June 30, 2024
First, I would like to thank everyone who was able to come to Joyce Kroeker’s
memorial service and luncheon. It was a wonderful showing of love and friendship
to the whole Kroeker family and great memories were shared of our long- time
member Joyce.
It’s time to congratulate our newest members who were voted in at the June
meeting. We all want to welcome Louie & Kelly Avila, Joe Bratton & Darlene
Trower, and Peter Postoyan into our CVC family. I know it is sometimes difficult to
get to know our new members right away as we have so many joining during the
last few months. The best time to get to know each other is on runs. The group is
smaller than meetings and we have time to visit and learn about each other. Do
join in some run activities if you’re able. If fact, sponsor a run. Even a simple
dinner or lunch run is always welcomed.
Speaking of meetings, this July meeting will be the last meeting at Club One until
they have finished their construction. This may be Aug through Oct, possibly
longer. Please remember we will be meeting at the Yosemite Falls Café, 4020 N.
Cedar Ave, Fresno, 5 PM dinner and socializing, 6:30 meeting begins.
The next meeting is July 15, 2024, starting at 6:30 P.M.
Your President,
Lynne Henenfent
