$50,000 for Community Bridle Trail
Pittwater MP Rory Amon joined
with members of the Duffys
Forest and Terrey Hills residents
and Pittwater Ward Councillor Michael
Gencher to celebrate $50,000
of funding being secured for the
beloved community bridle trail.
Funded as part of the NSW
Government’s Local Small Commitment
Allocation Program, the
funds will be provided to Northern
Beaches Council for the restoration
and maintenance of the trail.
“The trail is enjoyed by walkers,
families, pets, horses, and
riders alike, so many people will
benefit from this investment in
the trail –I congratulate the Duffys
Forest Residents’ Association who
has spearheaded the campaign,
the equestrian community, and
Michael Gencher for his efforts in
securing Council support,” said Mr
Amon.
He also acknowledged Jeffrey
Quinn, the recent Labor Party candidate
for Pittwater, for proposing
the project for funding during the
March 2023 State election.
