Eyachts’ Boat Show sea trials
Boat owners and enthusiasts are gearing up
for new ranges and innovation at the Sydney
Boat Show at Darling Harbour in August.

THIS MONTH
NAIDOC Week. Celebrations
are held across Australia Sun 7 to
Sun 14 to recognise the history,
culture and achievements of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander peoples. There will
be live music, bushtucker
talks, dance, weaving and art
workshops at Narrabeen’s
Tramshed precinct on Sun 7 from
11am-2pm and local libraries are
hosting a variety of activities for
kids during the school holidays
including tree art projects,
movies and bracelet weaving.
Fishing Club. Avalon Beach
RSL Fishing Club competitions
recommence Fri 19 and every
third Friday of the month at 5pm
with competitors meeting on the
Sunday for a 2.30pm weigh-in.

National Tree Day. Duffys
Forest Residents Association
(DFRA) invites you and the kids to
Waratah Park, the former home
of Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, to
help plant 400 native seedlings
donated by Harvest Seeds and
Nugrang Warada Community
