Editor Note
One of my goals for 2022 was to broaden
the network of talented professionals we
work with, while still delivering a quality
and consistent product to our readers.
And I can proudly say we successfully
accomplished that goal! What a year!
Riche Magazine was blessed to be able to
publish 23 consecutive issues in 2022,
bringing our total publication count to
134! One of the highlights of our
publications last year were special edition
issues which were devoted entirely to a
specific model or photographer, a perfect
way to highlight their individual work!
We also made it our goal to integrate more
fashion and fitness into each issue, while
also covering sports and lifestyle. Our
readers can expect to see a more focused
effort of including sports and
entertainment into our future issues, as
we are dedicated to the retention of our
current readers while also seeking to
attract new audiences!
renovation of our corporate headquarters
in Virgina (USA). Exciting times!
I try to say this often, because I am so
sincere when I say it ... I am so grateful
for the opportunity to do what I love
everyday, living the RICHE lifestyle! I am
grateful for each and every model,
photographer, and business professional
I've had the pleasure to work it. I am
grateful for each and every reader and
subscriber.
Who or what
inspired you to start
modeling?
I’ve always loved
fashion and that love
inspired me to start
modeling. Since then,
I have become very
comfortable with
specific types of sexy
glamor.
How long have you been
modeling? 5 years.
How would you describe
your modeling style? I
used to be more
conservative, but with
the advice and support of
my photographer, I’ve
branched out into sexier
content focused on
daring swimwear,
lingerie and have even
experimented with some
demure implies … and I
really love it.
What is your most
memorable moment as a
model? I’ve deeply
enjoyed this journey of
self-discovery over the
past year and learning to
see myself in a new light.
What are your modeling
goals, short-term and
long-term? Since I have a
very demanding full-time
career and modeling has
to take a back seat, I
allow myself the freedom
to go with the flow and
let things happen as they
will.
What is your sexiest
feature? I’ve been told I
have fantastic legs and
great boobs, but it’s hard
to see yourself the way
others do. I’m learning to
be better about that. I do
like my eyes a lot.
I was born in PA but grew up in MA. I am
close with my immediate family and am
very devoted to them. In school, I became
interested in helping others, which has led to
my choices for a career path. Modeling has
become an important sidelight in my life.
5 Secrets to a Healthy Lifestyle
Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t easy. It takes
commitment, dedication, patience, selfdiscipline,
and knowledge. In essence, those
5 qualities could be considered their own 5
secrets, but all of these personal qualities
need to be applied to what every person has
to do to have a healthy lifestyle.
Exercise – Without a consistent exercise
program, where you’re doing some
stretching, some cardio, and some strength
training at least 4-5 times a week, you’re
going to struggle being healthy. All of these
exercises should be approved by a doctor
and someone with training in physical
fitness management, unless you have that
knowledge yourself. You should do a total of
an hour each day. The benefits are managing
your weight and body’s chemistry,
strengthening muscles and bones, and
improving brain chemistry.
Sleep – Without high quality sleep of above
7-9 hours a day, you won’t have the energy
to do Step 1. Many people think they can
function with little sleep. Eventually it
catches up to you and every year you get
older, you need more sleep just like kids do.
Stress – Managing stress is something that
comes into the realm of knowledge - needed,
even more than an exercise program. There
are many ways to manage stress and each
person has his or her individual needs.
Trying a wide variety of stress management
techniques is important and sticking to it
allows you to do both Steps 1 & 2.
Nutrition - The field of nutrition has
changed a lot over the years but some of
the very best research has come out in the
last 10 or so years showing how nutrition
will aid in succeeding at Steps 1-3. Seeing a
nutritionist or taking classes in healthy
nutrition really aids learning how to cut out
bad habits and fuel your body with good
ones.
Structure/Scheduling – No one likes being
in a rut, but it is so much easier to achieve
health goals if you have a consistent
schedule-structure-pattern to your life.
Trying to live life as the wind blows or as
the spirit moves you might feel freeing on
occasion for that rare person, but most
people need a clear regimen to master all 4
steps above.
6 Tips:
How to stay active at home
In the past weeks, it has become
clear that social distancing and
quarantining are the new normal.
This is an overwhelming time as
we attempt to adjust our mindsets
and schedules – between working
from home, watching after the
kids, keeping up with the news,
and maintaining sanity, it can be a
challenge to prioritize your
physical and mental health.
Here are some tips on how to stay
active in these strange and
unprecedented times.
Make a plan. It’s always easier to
commit to a healthy habit if you
make it part of your routine. At the
beginning of each week, take a
look at your schedule and find
those windows where you could
realistically squeeze in a workout.
Set a reminder on your phone or
even add the workout to your
calendar to keep yourself
accountable.
Try a meal delivery service. It may
be difficult to cook healthy meals
every day, especially if you can’t get
what you need from the grocery
store. Having healthy food
delivered safely to your door can
alleviate the stress and hassle of
cooking, plus having healthy
options in the house will keep you
from overeating and reaching for
junk food. South Beach Diet, for
example, offers fully nutritionally
balanced, prepared meals and
snacks that make it easy to keep
your diet on track.
Take breaks from work. It can be
tempting to sit around all day while
you’re working from home, but
don’t let yourself stay sedentary for
too long. Get away from your
workspace and move around every
hour or so to get your blood
flowing. This will help you to stay
sharp and healthy during social
isolation. If you’re taking a phone
call, stand up and allow yourself to
pace around. Try to get up every
hour and take a few steps around
the house, stretch, or even do a
few jumping jacks.
Stream, stream, stream. As gyms
and workout studios are
necessarily closed for the
moment, many fitness brands and
instructors are using Instagram
live to hold virtual classes. If you
have a favorite local studio or a
favorite instructor, check out their
website or social media to see if
they are hosting any online
classes. Many fitness brands are
also offering extended free trials
to access their libraries of workout
videos.
Go for a walk or run. Of course, we
are all limiting our trips outside to
the grocery store, gas station, or
anywhere else we might come in
close contact with others. But if
you are able to safely run or walk
while keeping distance from your
neighbors, those are great options
for staying active, clearing your
mind, and getting some fresh air.
“It’s so important to find those
moments of joy outdoors while
we’re all social distancing,” says
Jessie James Decker, mother of
three and South Beach Diet brand
ambassador. “Whatever that means
for you – whether it’s a stroll around
the neighborhood with the kids or a
long run to velar your head – you’ll
feel so much better if you make the
time for it.”
Keep your mind active. Just as our
bodies need physical activity to
stay healthy, our minds need
stimulation (beyond reality TV
binge sessions) to stay sharp as
well. Group activities such as board
games or puzzles are a great option
for keeping your mind sharp while
clocking some quality time with
your family or roommates. -
