Firstly, everyone here in the Priceless office would<br />
like to say a big thank you to everyone who<br />
came to enjoy Wealden Times Midsummer<br />
Fair – from our amazing set-up team and exhibitors<br />
to the thousands of fabulous shoppers supporting<br />
independent businesses. As ever, beautiful Hole Park<br />
provided the perfect backdrop for our three-day event<br />
and musical interludes from Marlborough House,<br />
Dulwich Cranbrook, Sutton Valence and Ashford<br />
School added to the relaxed summery atmosphere.<br />
This issue’s property supplement delves into all the<br />
important considerations when purchasing or altering<br />
your home. From legal advice to tips on how to decorate<br />
your new build, there’s plenty of food for thought.<br />
Our interiors features, though certainly different in style,<br />
are both buildings with a history that have undergone<br />
a dramatic transformation. The first, an impressively<br />
proportioned oast house, is living a new life as a holiday let,<br />
whilst the second – a Grade II listed maisonette – started<br />
life as a merchant’s shop on Tenterden High Street and is<br />
now a unique home to a couple who relish central town life.<br />
