esirée Wolfgramm joined Energy Northwest<br />
in 2007 as an engineer. She has held a variety<br />
of positions, including in Design and Systems<br />
Engineering and as Regulatory Affairs manager. She<br />
moved to Security Services in 2023 and recently<br />
joined the senior leadership team at Energy<br />
Northwest as Operations Support general manager.<br />
Desirée is passionate about Science, Technology,<br />
Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and sharing<br />
excitement for learning with children in her<br />
community and her own six children at home. Since<br />
2013 Desirée has led Kids Engineering Day, an<br />
annual community event that provides STEM<br />
activities hosted by local companies and<br />
organizations for hundreds of elementary aged<br />
children. Desirée has been an advocate for nuclear<br />
energy for her entire career and has spoken to<br />
N<br />
ick Touran has a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering<br />
and works for TerraPower, LLC. Additionally,<br />
he runs a website and a YouTube channel<br />
called What Is Nuclear.<br />

Desiree has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical<br />
engineering from Brigham Young University and a<br />
master’s in mechanical engineering from Washington<br />
