The <strong>Rubber</strong> <strong>Division</strong> of the American Chemical Society (<strong>Rubber</strong> <strong>Division</strong>, <strong>ACS</strong>) is an international association of chemists,<br />
engineers, technicians, scientists, plant managers, sales and marketing professionals and others in the rubber, polymer or related<br />
fields within industry, academia and government. For over 100 years, we have worked to educate, connect and grow the evolving<br />

Courses & Webinars<br />
Our training opportunities cover a wide variety of important topics and are offered all throughout the year. Webinars are free for<br />
our members and all our courses are free for undergraduate student members (discount for masters & graduate student members).<br />
Courses are held virtually with the exception of a few scheduled to be held at partner locations.<br />
CEUs:<br />
You are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEUs) for many of our courses through our partnership<br />
with the University of Akron.<br />

the science and technology of rubber and elastomeric materials, we are a hybrid open-access journal publishing peer-reviewed<br />
research covering important work from across the international scientific community – fundamental research and technical<br />
developments relating to chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or technological developments of rubber and<br />
allied substances.<br />
Published continuously since 1928, the journal provides the deepest archive of published research in the field. <strong>Rubber</strong> Chemistry &<br />
Technology is read by scientists and engineers in academia, industry and government. Access to the complete archive of the RC&T<br />

Scholarships<br />
<strong>Rubber</strong> <strong>Division</strong>, <strong>ACS</strong> offers two $5,000 Undergraduate Scholarships to students entering their junior or senior year for the<br />
fall-spring academic year. In addition, the former Connecticut <strong>Rubber</strong> Group offers a $5,000 Russell Mazzeo Memorial<br />
Undergraduate Scholarship. Applicants for these scholarships may have a major area study in chemistry, physics, chemical or<br />
mechanical engineering, polymer science or any other technical discipline relevant to the rubber industry. Each winner receives<br />
up to $5,000 to put towards educational tuition expenses. Application deadline is March 1 of each year. Many of our regional<br />
<strong>Rubber</strong> Groups also offer student scholarships as well.

The purpose of this award is to recognize the paper published in our <strong>Rubber</strong> Chemistry & Technology Journal each year that best<br />
