Host families sought for Japanese students<br />
› After COVID interrupted the exchange of high school students with various<br />
cities in Japan, the <strong>Haddonfield</strong> Japan Exchange resumed its program in 2023,<br />
sending 17 Memorial High School students to Sendai, Japan, for two weeks.<br />
Now it’s <strong>Haddonfield</strong>’s turn to host 20 students from Sendai.<br />
The students and their chaperones will arrive on Fri Jul 19 and depart on<br />
Wed Jul 31.<br />
<strong>Haddonfield</strong> residents who are interested in opening their homes to the<br />
visiting students should visit the Exchange website – hjex.org – and complete<br />
the Host Family Application. Note that host families must have a teenage<br />
student in their home and that hosting students will be given priority<br />
consideration for the planned exchange visit to Japan in 2025.<br />
