enjoy a spring evening<br />
in the gardens behind<br />
Greenfield Hall (343<br />
Kings Hwy E) and join<br />
it in celebrating several<br />
upcoming projects.<br />
The date is Thu Jun<br />
27. The time is 5 to 7pm.<br />
The theme is Roofs,<br />
Rails & Roots! And the<br />
projects are:<br />
• A campaign to raise<br />
funds to repair and<br />
restore the slate roof and<br />
balustrade on Greenfield<br />
Hall. Two grants have<br />
been obtained from<br />
Camden County and NJ<br />
Historic Trust, but they<br />
will not cover the entire<br />
cost of the restoration.<br />
• A campaign to raise<br />
funds to transport a<br />
historic train shed from<br />
behind Lullworth Hall<br />
to the grounds of<br />
Greenfield Hall. The shed<br />
originally stood at the<br />
<strong>Haddonfield</strong> railroad<br />
station and was moved<br />
when the Speedline was<br />
constructed. The Board<br />
of Education is thrilled<br />
to find a home for this<br />
vintage shed, as is the<br />
Historical Society.<br />
The party will feature<br />
live music provided by<br />
Society president Jessica<br />
Lucas and Society<br />
member Matt Falciani.<br />
Light refreshments will<br />
be served.<br />
