The sacking of Brad Arthur is just glossing over deeper issues at Parramatta. The
treatment of Arthur, who was left in the dark over the club’s pursuit of Wayne
Bennett, has been poor. Parramatta’s long Premiership drought will continue until
there is some serious, decent leadership at the club.
Well done to 2GB’s Ray Hadley, who has been loud in his criticism of aerial shooting of
brumbies at Kosciuszko National Park. He’s been on this story for months now, and
hasn’t let go. His appearance at a parliamentary inquiry into the situation last week
was absolutely first class.
