Huge line-up at Sydney Writers Festival<br />
This week, Sydney Writers Festival is taking over <strong>Parra</strong>matta,<br />
with some of the best writers heading out west. On <strong>May</strong> 22<br />
from 6-7pm, local and City of <strong>Parra</strong>matta’s inaugural Laureate<br />
in Literature Yumna Kassab will discuss her latest novel Politica,<br />
while renowned investigative journalist Hedley Thomas will<br />
provide a behind-the-scenes look into his podcast.<br />
Be a part of National Sorry Day<br />
Honour the Stolen Generations and come together for a day of<br />
acknowledgement and healing at <strong>Parra</strong>matta’s National Sorry<br />
Day event. Held at Old Government House on <strong>May</strong> 26, from<br />
10am-2pm, it will see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander<br />
people and civic leaders honour the legacy of the Stolen Generations.<br />
