products products padel products Cuera RRP: from £19.99 for socks www.cuera.co Named in tribute to padel’s inventor Enrique Corcuera, Danish apparel brand Cuera fuses sustainability, performance and quality to produce sportswear for on and off court. The range, in muted colourways of grey, black, brown, beige and offwhite (with some orange thrown in) includes socks, shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and skorts made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Snauwaert RRP: from €79 www.snauwaert.com Snauwaert is an established name in tennis (established 1928, re-launched in 2018) and now you can take advantage of its expertise channelled into padel. Rackets start from €79, rising to €399.00 for the Vitas Tour 3D, its most advanced and powerful racket with 3D braid carbon, EVA 10 foam, large sweetspot, hybrid shape and built-in dampening system. Babolat new Ace padel ball has been developed specifically for competition and is approved by the International Padel Federation (FIP). Compared to ‘regular’ balls it is made of firmer rubber and with a more tightly woven felt, making it more reactive and slightly less cushioned than recreational padel balls. RRP: £6.49 per tube of 3 Ace it! The Roger Clubhouse Pro is the latest addition to On’s almost cult-like shoe collection. Designed in conjunction with tennis giant Roger Federer (who has been spotted playing padel), the Clubhouse Pro is being marketed to ‘everyday tennis’ fans and padel players, likely because it has a herringbone sole. The shoes have more cushioning than the standard Roger Pro, with a combination of soft foam and the award-winning CloudTec® sole. RRP: £150 www.on.com THE Roger Clubhouse Pro Perfect Pete www.originalpenguin.co.uk We’re loving Original Penguin, both for men and women. The men’s piped blade collar performance shirt (£45, in bright white, quarry or turquoise) is a new release made from 35% recycled polyester. The wicking fabric is slightly stretchy and the shirt is finished with a cute Pete the Penguin logo on the chest. The women’s 16” asymmetrical golf skort (£70) is, quite frankly, wasted on golf! The Black Iris colour way is dark navy with pink pleats hidden behind a zip. You can choose how much - or how little - pink you want on show. Babolat Veron RRP: from £209.99 Babolat’s new Veron rackets have an integrated shockabsorbing elastomer to absorb vibrations, a bonus for players concerned with (or recovering from) arm/elbow injuries. Babolat has worked with materials/damping specialist SMAC to develop the range, which is suitable for players of all levels wanting power and control. It also features the manufacturer’s Carbonflex surface, a weave of two racket face materials combining carbon and fiberglass for strength and durability. 54 Buy The Bandeja print copies at www.thebandeja.com thebandeja.com | SUMMER 2024 55
