The Bandeja met these lovely ladies at the opening of Rocket
Padel in Bristol. Admittedly it’s a while ago now but they were
having a great time, having travelled from Wales for the event, so
we think it’s worth giving them a shout-out and a wave.

Rocks Lane founder Chris Warren launched the European Padel
League (EPL), a tournament contested by teams from five
countries (GB, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and France) and hosted in
each location. It’s coming to Rocks Lane, Chiswick, on July 4-7th.

Padel saw Gloucestershire (above) reign supreme in
the men’s (beating Surrey) and the mixed (beating
Yorkshire). Yorkshire (below) took the women’s title
against Gloucestershire.

delegation from Sport Scotland’s Fit For Girls
programme to find out more about padel. A
partnership between Sport Scotland and the
Youth Sport Trust, Fit for Girls is aimed at driving
engagement with sport for 11-18-year-olds.
