Memorial Day<br />
› As it has done for so<br />
many years, American<br />
Legion Post 38 will<br />
sponsor a number of<br />
activities for Memorial<br />
Day – Mon May 27 –<br />
including a parade on<br />
Kings Hwy E (from the<br />
Presbyterian Church) at<br />
10am and a ceremony at<br />
the High School. All are<br />
encouraged to attend.<br />

Coming: Major roadworks<br />
› A major reconstruction of the entire length of<br />
Haddon Ave is about to shift into a higher gear.<br />
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, work<br />
will be undertaken (in two phases) on the section<br />
between Lincoln Ave and the Ellis Street Circle and<br />
the Circle and the Fire Station.<br />
Initially, work will focus on upgrading existing<br />
water and sewer infrastructure. Connections to<br />
businesses and residences along the route will be<br />
rehabilitated or replaced, as necessary.<br />
There will be road closures during construction.<br />
Utility companies and contractors will work with<br />
businesses to ensure access is maintained.<br />
