Spring 2024 1st Quarter in the Books 

2024 First quarter in the books. Spring in 

full swing with Cinco de Mayo, Mothers Day 

and Memorial Day all in view with Summer 

fast approaching in June. Crazy stuff happening 

around the USA and world as usual with Pro 

Palestinian Protesters on every major campus 

and arrests being made. Probably financed and 

planned by deep state Antifa. Let me just say 

peace in the Middle East or anywhere on the 

planet will not happen until the Lord returns to 

make wrongs right and to deliver peace forever 

by crushing Satan. 

Always remember the Good News is Jesus is 

Lord and by trusting in the Lord you are 

walking on the right path. The NFL Draft is 

over and before you know it the Pigskins will be 

flying and don’t forget in November 2024 we 

will elect our next President in the USA. Prayers 

for a fair election and for our next President to 

be a man of faith not perfect, but forgiven. Yes 

we all fall short of the glory of god. So if you 

are looking for a perfect President to vote for 

dream on. Lets just claim through our faith that 

the nation we all live in and respect will elect a 

leader who will keep America Great Always and 

stop the crime, open borders and woke agenda 

we have experienced the past 4 years. It’s time 

for change and let’s do what we can to bring 

positive change for the better to our great 

country where Freedom reigns in our nation 

founded by men of faith.

For God so loved the world that he gave his 

one and only Son, that whoever believes in 

him shall not perish but have eternal life. 

Remember to keep your hands on the wheel and 

stay in prayer for every situation and everything 

that comes your way knowing that by trusting in 

the Lord you are on the Right Ship and although 

you may experience some rough waters along the 

way God will see you through and has a plan for 

you. Make a pact with God and don’t leave him 

without it.

Heaven Bound Book Feature 

Early on in my sales career I would listen to Books on Tape in my car while 

navigating the Freeways and Roads of So Cal calling on clients and prospects 

while selling commercial printing for My Dad and His Partners Printing 

Business. One Book on tape I will never forget was the autobiography of 

Wallace E. Johnson titled “Work is my play”. I truly believe that God puts 

people, places, books and incidents in our life for a reason. This book was one 

of those jewels that surely impacted me when I read the story of Wallace and 

his partner Kemmons Wilson who started the Holiday Inns. 

Nothing is impossible with Faith, Hard Work and trusting the Lord in 

everything you do. Although the Book is out of print its message is still available 

for anyone to read online I’m sure through Amazon. I was fortunate to get 

a signed copy of his Book but sadly Wallace died the year I received the book 

and I never had the chance to meet Wallace which was in my plans. I hope you 

read the book and if you wish I will gladly send you my dog eared copy if you 

promise to return it the same beat up condition.

Do Animals Go to Heaven 

Many Christian leaders have also addressed the question of what happens to animals after they die. 

John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, taught that humans are stewards of—and responsible for the care 

of—God’s creation. When they failed to protect His perfect creation, humans sinned against God, and when 

pain and suffering then entered the world, animals had to endure it, too. The bond God had created was 

broken, and humans’ exploitation of and cruelty to animals began. Wesley spoke with anticipation of a new 

creation in which God would restore animals to their intended glory. 

Martin Luther, who founded the Lutheran church, held a view similar to Wesley’s, saying, “In Paradise there 

was complete harmony between man and animals; one day again that harmony will be restored and all creation 

will be made anew as Christ will be in all and all.” 

Pope John Paul II confirmed that “[n]o human being can be justified in claiming absolute ownership of animals 

for the simple reason that God alone owns creation. Animals do not simply exist for us nor belong to us. 

They exist primarily for God and belong to God. The whole work of creation belongs to the plan of salvation, 

‘the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.’” 

In his book Heaven, Randy Alcorn writes, “Horses, cats, dogs, deer, dolphins, and squirrels—as well as the 

inanimate creation—will be beneficiaries of Christ’s death and resurrection. … If we believe God is their 

Creator, that He loves us and them, that He intends to restore His creatures from the bondage they experienced 

because of our sin, then we have biblical grounds for not only wanting but expecting that we may be with 

them again on the New Earth.” 

Scripture and many of those whom God called to share His message have explained that He created animals, 

blessed them, and called them good and that one day they will be part of His restored perfect kingdom. It’s 

important to note that God doesn’t differentiate among species, even though it might be more convenient for 

some humans to believe that the dogs and cats they share their homes with—but not the chicken they just ate 

for dinner—will be with them in heaven. Some people might picture a heaven with doves and majestic elephants—but 

not the tiny mouse they killed in a glue trap. Humans don’t get to make those determinations, 

though. God does, and His choice is clear. 

We don’t have to wait for a new kingdom in order to live in harmony with the rest of God’s creation. Right 

now, we can refuse to exploit or abuse animals for experimentation, food, clothing, entertainment, or any 

other reason, thus honoring Jesus’ commandment to “love one another.”

“JB” was born in Los Angeles and raised in South Pasadena, CA and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ 

as his savior while attending college in upstate NY in 1974. “JB” started his professional sales career 

as a Printing Salesman at his father’s printing plant in Los Angeles after earning his BS Degree from 

Cal State Los Angeles. Porter & Griffin based in Los Angeles where “JB” worked in sales was 

founded in 1966 and sold in 1983 to Lithographix. “JB” worked in Sales and Management for over 

20+ years in the Printing and Packaging Industry in addition to starting his own Print Brokerage and 

Products division before obtaining his real estate License 1997. “JB” was active in Christian 

Ministry serving as the President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Pasadena Adult Chapter 

from 1987-1988 and oversaw the FCA Adult Chapter Rose Bowl Breakfast.
