Wolf Point Club - Port Lavaca, Texas
Wolf Point Ranch is about 16 kilometres inland from
the small port town of Point Comfort by Lavaca Bay.
Mike Nuzzo, a Houston-based architect, designed the
18-hole layout in 2007 for Al Stanger, a local rancher.
The fairways set within his massive 1,600-acre
property, Wolf Point is the ultimate "backyard" golf
course. The lucky few who have been invited to play
have likened the experience to playing at The Old
Course at St. Andrews. In 2020, Zach Peed, owner of
the Dormie Network of private destination golf clubs,
purchased Wolf Point in 2020 and re-branded the
club “TX0” which is the official code of the property's
on-site airstrip.
