SUPPORT AND DONATES TO PERKESO
TOWARDS PLIGHT OF HOUSEWIFE
SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME
In light of Raya month, Tropicana showed its support for women in the B40
category by donating more than RM69,000 to PERKESO’S Skim Keselamatan
Sosial Suri Rumah (SKSSR), extending help that will reach out to as many as 712
women providing social security protection and support to housewives.
This charity scheme will protect housewives against domestic accidents or other
incidents in the course of performing her household duties as well as housewives
who are afflicted with illness or invalidity.

Present at the “Majlis Perasmian Sambutan Hari Wanita KESUMA dan Karnival
Kerjaya Wanita MYFutureJobs PERKESO 2024: Tiada Yang Terpinggir”, Tropicana’s
representative was presented with a token of appreciation. Representing Tropicana
was Ixora Ang, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales and Business Development
at Tropicana Corporation Berhad where she shared her positive sentiment, “at
Tropicana, we have been Redefining the Art of Living, Sharing and Caring for more
than four decades. We find the plight of this scheme a very meaningful one and it
addresses the impact the significant positions that housewives have. On the heels
of International Women’s Day and in line with the holy month of Ramadan, we are
pleased to be part of this.” Ixora added saying, “As a women’s outreach program, I
hope this opportunity can he fully utilised by women.”
