<strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf & Country Resort (TGCR), a subsidiary of <strong>Tropicana</strong>, is home to the<br />
largest Ramadhan buffet offering a delicious Santapan 29 Malam, Selera Muhibbah Iftar<br />
spread. A true treat for the senses, there were over 200 dishes served nightly and 23<br />
live cooking stations located around the clubhouse making it a delectable, exciting and<br />
adventurous buka puasa experience.<br />
In light of the spirit of giving and caring, <strong>Tropicana</strong> Foundation, the charity arm of<br />
<strong>Tropicana</strong> also partnered up with TGCR and co-hosted a charity outreach initiative<br />
inviting a group of 107 children from four orphanage homes. Children from Pusat Tahfiz<br />
Darus Syabab, Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Kasih, Rumah Sentuhan Budi and Pusat Jagaan<br />
Cahaya Kasih Bistari were treated to the delicious buffet spread as well as duit raya and<br />
daily essential goods.<br />
Yew Kong Chee, Executive Director of TGCR, shared more on the visit. “We are proud<br />
to be the home of the largest Ramadhan buffet in Petaling Jaya. Our popular buffet<br />
is made possible by all the commitments and contributions of our TGCR team. In<br />
continuing our mantra of Redefining the Art of Living, Caring & Sharing, we invited 107<br />
children from 4 homes to buka puasa with us. This has been our practice for more than<br />
10 years! We are pleased to continue this charity tradition and we want to spread the<br />
joy of our Ramadhan buffet to every layer of society."
