EDITOR'S NOTE
How speedily the year is going by. Already
mid-way through and I’m certain most of us
are reflecting and pondering if the first half
of the year saw us achieve the goals’ we had
set for ourselves. Did we get the job? Did we
succeed in closing those deals? Did we get
promoted? But, could we perhaps change
the narrative and switch up the goalpost?
Did we go on that trip? When was my last
health check? Have I spent enough time
with family and friends?
Speaking of family, with Mother’s Day and
Father’s Day celebrated in the months of
May and June, we paid tribute to familial
values and the impact parents can have
in our lives. Our Cover Story is not of one,
not of two but of Dato’ Wong Keong Fook
and Datin Kok Yoke Sim of Unique Seafood
and their kids. We explore their rich history
in transforming the world of local Chinese
seafood dining in Kuala Lumpur and if they
will hand over the reins to their kids.
