He doesn't seem to be doing much.
Jack:
This lot were smart. They have a nice house.
Arthur: I'd have thought he'd be in a bit more of a hurry.
Jack:
Nice things.
Arthur: He actually has the gall to just sit around on their furniture.
Jack:
Anything nice I ever had I stole.
Arthur: How can he just do this.
Jack:
Ah forget it.
Arthur: He looks sad.
Pause.
/I can't do this.
Jack:
I can't do this.
Silence
Arthur: Why is it that he can he can just waltz around here and do what he wants.
Jack:
It really is a hard business to be in these days. Firstly houses are harder to break into. They
all have alarms like.
Arthur: I hate it.
Jack:
But the biggest problem is the competition. There's gangs getting involved you see.
Arthur: He's got something to live for.
Jack:
You've got to be careful you don't end up in an area someone else is working on.
Arthur: Something to look forward to.
Jack:
One time I was working a house on the south side and I ended up with a knife pointing
straight at me.
Arthur: Something to do. What's he got to be sad about.
Jack:
But I've nothing to die for.
