RACE A SUPERB ZOUSAIN COLT WITH CAMPBELL BROWN & PETER MOODY.
Blueblood Thoroughbreds are very excited to announce an exciting new project.
You can race this magnificent colt by Zousain with the man, the myth, the
legend - Campbell Brown. The All-Australian, Hawthorn Premiership player,
Gold Coast vice-captain and popular media personality is part of the team who
will be bringing the fun of racing a colt with a very bright future.
When available, Campbell will be present on days our boy is racing so you get
to hang out with the great man in the Mounting Yard and hopefully in the
Winner’s Room!
If that’s not a big enough drawcard, Peter Moody trains, so imagine the
celebrations after we snag a big one!
Jump on board quickly as this won’t be an available for long!!
RACE WITH BROWN-DOG.

ABOUT THE COLT.
This son of Zousain was purchased from the 2024 Inglis Classic Sale for
$70,000.
Zousain, throws some outstanding individuals and this guy definitely falls
into that category. He’s big, he’s strong, there’s plenty of power behind the
saddle and he’s got a bombproof attitude.
We think he will make a great sprinter miler type. We rated him very highly
and purchased the colt at a bargain price. He will get every chance with
astute trainer, Peter Moody and his new dual Group One winning co-trainer,
Katherine Coleman at the helm. Moods Loved him and that’s enough for us.
The colt passed 100% clean on his x-rays and clinical examination and was
rated low risk.
He is eligible for the lucrative BOBS Silver & BOBS Extra bonus scheme,
$5mil Golden Slipper, $1mil Golden Rose, $2mil Blue Diamond, $200,000
Blue Sapphire and the $5mil Inglis Extra Bonus Race Series.
He was consigned from the draft of Widden Stud - one of the best farms in
Australia. Widden has produced the likes of Hey Doc, Yankee Rose,
Dissident, Takedown, Whobegotyou, Shamal Wind, Levendi, Hucklebuck,
Star Turn, Prized Icon, Anacheeva, Driefontein etc.
Watch the video below to see him move and hear from Peter Moody.
ABOUT THE FAMILY.
His Dam won twice over a mile in NZ and has produced 3 to race for 2
winners (pedigree update). She is out of a Gr1 NZ Oaks winner so there is
definitely toughness in the family.
With Zousain’s speed and the stamina coming from the Dam side we will
have a sharp sprinter / miler with a bit of intestinal fortitude.
ABOUT THE SIRE.
A stunning colt that is a mirror image of his sire Zoustar,
Zousain was prepared by champion trainer Chris Waller,
who also put the polish on champion father.
He was a precocious juvenile – a Gr.2 winner & Gr.1
runner up as a 2yo
and second in the Gr.1 Coolmore Stud Stakes and Gr.1
Golden Rose at 3.
He is prominent on the First Season Sire Table producing
6 winners to date including Listed and Gr3 winner Drifting
as well as Gr3 placed Chateau Miraval.
“Physically, he’s a Zoustar clone. An easy Group
winning 2YO and just half a length from emulating his
sire as a 3YO when running a close second in the Gr1
Golden Rose and Coolmore”
– Studmaster -Widden, Antony Thompson
SUMMARY.
He has broken in perfectly and is currently in pre-training which will hopefully
lead to him heading into the Moody / Coleman Yard for a prep at the end of May.
Whether he makes it right through to an early 2yo race this time in remains to be
seen but he is a very athletic, type who will go early.
Hear from his breaker, Sam Fasher in the video below.
