“...Sex can look
and feel however
is best for you.”
I have had multiple people insinuate that
since I have not had sex with a man, I
have not had sex, period. This is because
these people believe that penetrative sex
with a penis is the only way to have sex.
Penetration being the end goal of sex is a
heteronormative concept; the reality of it
all is that sex can be whatever you consider
it to be. There are so many different ways
to have sex that I honestly feel bad for
people who think penetration is the end
all, be all. Ultimately, the goal of sex is to
experience pleasure; as long as you do
that in a safe & consensual way, as well as
getting tested regularly, sex can look and
feel however is best for you.
