LYMINGTON OPEN GARDENS 2024 Lymington Open Gardens, a popular event in the Lymington social calendar, takes place on Sunday 26 May (2-6pm) and features 13 private gardens including 6 new ones. The event is organised by the Friends of St Barbe Museum + Art Gallery, with all profits helping the museum care for and display its unique local collection, mount nationally recognised art exhibitions and further the museum’s extensive outreach programme. We aim to put the community at the heart of everything we do. photo © lucyelliottphotography.com ADVERTISING FEATURE This year marks the museum’s 25th anniversary and we are hoping that Lymington Open Gardens is a highlight among several enjoyable events for the whole town to enjoy in 2024. There is a newly designed garden for residents of a care home, a garden behind a GP practice, a cottage garden, another designed as a sensory garden, while others feature specimen trees, advanced composting techniques, water features, pergolas and patios in a variety of styles.
