Enjoy spring colour from azaleas, rhododendrons and bulbs, then summer colour from perennials, water lilies and tropical plants. A lawn meanders between informal beds and ponds, and bridges lead to a tranquil pergola seating area overlooking a wildlife pond. A rockery is skirted by a stream and a waterfall tumbles into a large lily pond, home to dragonflies. 22 AVON AVENUE Avon Castle, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 2BH 5th May, 16th June, 28th July, 25th August Japanese themed water garden featuring granite sculptures, ponds, waterfalls, azaleas, rhododendrons, cloud topiary and a collection of goldfish and water lilies. Children must be under parental supervision due to large, deep water pond. No dogs please. BERE MILL London Road, Whitchurch, Hampshire, RG28 7NH 6th and 27th May, 26th August Garden built around early C18 mill on idyllic isolated stretch of the River Test, east of Whitchurch.
