The Softail chassis has long been a challenge for suspension guys.<br />
The shocks are hidden under the frame which makes common<br />
adjustments difficult. Not anymore, the engineering team at<br />
Progressive Suspension has come up with a clever solution. They<br />
call It RAP or Remote Adjustable Preload and it combines there<br />
proven high performance shocks with a remote preload adjuster.<br />
Conveniently located behind the left passenger peg, the RAP<br />
system allows you quickly and easily tune your shocks to account<br />
for changing loads or the addition of a passenger. Available in<br />
chrome finish only. Sold in pairs.<br />

Riding 2-up with stuffed saddlebags can quickly overwhelm<br />
your Softails suspension. Progressive has solved this problem by<br />
adding a higher rate spring to this already fully adjustable shock,<br />
providing better load and bottoming control. Combine that with<br />
variable ride height and tunable spring preload to setup your<br />
bike to fit your riding style. The 422 series shocks are based on<br />
a monotube damper system using and internal nitrogen charge,<br />
they are designed to eliminate oil cavitation and help create a<br />
