Dear Friends,<br />
On behalf of the animals we serve at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League,<br />
join us in celebrating another issue of the <strong>Publicity</strong> <strong>Hound</strong>! We are grateful to<br />
this year’s contributors and to all for the dedication to our annual tradition.<br />
Many of the beloved pets featured inside were rescued from Peggy Adams or<br />
other shelters and are enjoying their best lives. Those who have crossed the<br />
Rainbow Bridge are remembered here and forever. We salute all pet owners,<br />
for providing the homes and love all animals deserve.<br />
Because of our supporters, Peggy Adams is saving lives and giving cats and dogs their second chance<br />
each and every day. Preserving the human animal bond is critical to our mission and at the heart of all<br />
we do. The pages that follow remind us all of the love for our pets, and the joy they bring to our lives.<br />
Thank you for your generosity and compassion for the animals. Your dedication makes our lifesaving<br />

Nellie Benoit<br />
<strong>Publicity</strong> <strong>Hound</strong> Chair<br />
For decades Nellie Benoit has served as the Chair of our annual <strong>Publicity</strong> <strong>Hound</strong> magazine and has raised well over a<br />
million dollars for the animals at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. From September through November each year,<br />
those who know Nellie can count on receiving a hand delivered <strong>Publicity</strong> <strong>Hound</strong> form, in person or in their mailbox , or<br />
having several messages left on the phone, saying “Chop, Chop…it’s for the animals!”.<br />
Her dedication is legendary and will be sorely missed as she steps down from her role with the <strong>Publicity</strong> <strong>Hound</strong>. Nellie will<br />
continue to be a steadfast champion for the shelter animals at Peggy Adams as a devoted member of the Board of Directors<br />
and a volunteer with the veterinarians in our surgical suite.<br />
Many of our animals have found their forever homes with Nellie over the years. There is a special place in her heart for<br />
those with physical or medical challenges. How lucky are they to have been loved and cared for by Nellie!<br />

for all you have done and continue to do… for the animals.<br />
