differences cause bodily differences, even brain differences, how much<br />

<strong>of</strong> who we are, how we are, and who we become is up to us?<br />

Curing diseases is a good act because it allows for the avoidance <strong>of</strong><br />

human suffering. If someone found a cure for cancer, we should consider<br />

that person a hero for all the lives he or she will have saved and all the<br />

suffering he or she will have stopped. If some diseases are genetic, their<br />

then, should we not keep certain pairs <strong>of</strong> people from having children,<br />

given that it would create less human suffering?<br />
