Morning Break<br />
As part of the government fruit scheme all children under the age of 7 are<br />
entitled to a free piece of fruit and until the age of 5 your child is entitled to<br />
free milk. This is prepared daily by the school cook and all children are<br />
encouraged to select a piece of fruit during morning break. You can also send<br />
your child to school with a healthy snack, but please do not send chocolate,<br />
biscuits, sweets or crisps.<br />
As an alternative, the school cook sells toast from the canteen at morning<br />
break time. This is ordered in class each morning and paid via ParentPay.<br />
Toast is priced at 25p.<br />
Illness<br />
If your child is unwell and unable to come to school please ring<br />
and let us know on the first day of absence before 9.30am.<br />
If your child falls ill during the school time we will contact you<br />
immediately. Please ensure that we have a number where you can<br />
be reached.
