first-ever REIT in Kenya, championing the private

property sector’s voice.

Our dedication to fostering collaboration across

sectors was evident in our involvement with the

REITS Association of Kenya and Nairobi Stock

Exchange, paving the way for a capacity-building

program to enhance housing development for

REITS.

immense pride on the collective accomplishments

and transformative journey we’ve undertaken as the

Kenya Property Developers Association.

1. Fostering Growth and Building Partnerships

In our first quarter, our focus on advocacy

Housing Agenda saw us playing a crucial role

in the establishment of the Kenya National

REITS, positioning KPDA as a key player in

promoting sustainable development. Through

our Affordable Housing Taskforce, we continue

to engage the State Department of Housing and

Urban Development, actively working to secure

incentives for over 90 projects in our pipeline.

2. Spotlight on Emerging Markets and Shaping

Policy

The second quarter illuminated the path to

success with a focus on navigating emerging

markets in Africa. Our relentless advocacy

efforts were evident as we engaged with key

My appointment as a board member at the

Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) reinforces

our commitment to amplifying KPDA’s voice,

facilitating strategic collaborations that drive

economic development and champion an

3. Looking Forward: A Call to Renewal and

Advancing our Sector

As we share the end-of-year issue of the KPDA

Developers Digest, I extend my deepest gratitude
