Business Consulting services
MEDA’s core service is business consulting. Our staff of highlyqualified
business consultants provides a wealth of talent,
knowledge and expertise that is shared in a trusted and
confidential environment. This talent is augmented by the
involvement of hundreds of excellent volunteers drawn from
a variety of corporate and community sources in the areas of
marketing, legal issues, accounting, operations and human
resource management.
MEDA consultants meet each entrepreneur where they are
in their business cycle. Providing one-on-one services for 563
entrepreneurs in 2006, MEDA consultants continue to help
clients surmount obstacles that prevent or diminish their chance for
business success. In addition, our consultants helped launch 19
new businesses that created 165 new jobs, with $11 million in
revenues.

The long-term goal is to help clients create sustainable businesses with community involvement that
make a significant economic impact in terms of job creation and tax contribution. Through the provision
of financial and business development resources, we help entrepreneurs
build capacity, balance growth and stability and improve financial,
management, marketing and human resource systems.
