I wish to admit that the thoughts I have penned down in this book have
not been learnt from literatures. These were picked up directly from the
ways in which some wonderful human beings I have met lived their lives.
I only feel fortunate that such individuals of remarkable qualities and
worth touched my life. In order to uphold the honour and humanity of
such outstanding human beings, I abstain from mentioning their names.
That silent contribution in the lives of others bears the essence of true love
has itself been my profound and unanimous learning from them. I am
grateful to God for being bestowed with the required serenity to keenly
observe these rare human characteristics, and the sacred energies to
translate them into words. I confess that working on this project was in
itself a self-evolutionary adventure. However, if my humble aspiration to
kindle reasonable goodness in the minds of many more learners like me is
fulfilled then the very purpose of my existence on this earth will be
genuinely actualized.

Any writer on 'Love' needs to be genuinely humble, for
explaining what is love, much less defining it, can be
dangerous and risky. You would end up confusing
yourself more than enlightening others. Love is not a
theory, concept or literature, for all these, and the rest, are
merely the offspring of love. So, one who claims to be an
authority on love couldn't be any less wise. Therefore, any
genuine work or reflection on love needs to be viewed only
as a sincere effort of an obedient learner. Love is so unique
and mystique that you cannot cease benefiting from the
wide expanse of its available literatures, before even
thinking of adding a new one.
