Kimberly Lavone Hines, affectionately
known as “Kim”, was born on February
21, 1962, in Sanford, Florida to the
late Richard Williams, Sr. and the late
Iola Hudley Williams. She attended
Seminole County Public Schools and
was a graduate of Seminole High
School, Sanford, Florida, Class of 1980.
During Kimberly’s life, she worked
in various capacities at Recoton
Corporation, Inc., Lake Mary, Florida,
S & H Fabricating and Engineering,
Inc., Sanford, Florida, and Invacare
Global, Sanford, Florida, just to name
a few. She was a member of the New
Covenant House of Worship, Inc.,
Sanford, Florida. Kimberly enjoyed
socializing with others, family
gatherings, and dancing (especially
the electric slide), and she loved and
took pride in her hometown, Sanford,
Florida. She shared with everyone
she knew and met, her love for her
daughter, grandchildren, and greatgrandson.
Kimberly will be truly
missed by her family and friends.
Kimberly was preceded in death
by: her loving parents, father,
Richard Williams, Sr. and mother,
Iola Williams; and brother, Gerald
Williams.
Kimberly departed this life on
Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Kimberly is survived by: her husband,
Acy Hines, III; daughter, Keona
Robinson (Larry, Jr.); grandchildren,
Ta’Niyah Burke and Lawrence
Mason, III; great-grandson, Kayden
Mason; siblings, Lexie Williams
(Piper), Gregory Williams, Arsinia
Grant, Richard Williams, and Janice
Williams Jordan; and a host of nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles cousins, other
relatives, and sorrowing friends who
will truly miss her.
