Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad
WorldSBK Team) marveled at his teammate’s
daring move in the Superpole Race: “It’s Toprak,
you can never relax. He’ll try things where you
think it’s not possible and makes it possible!” Van
der Mark’s fourth-place finish marked a significant
improvement for him.
Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven) shared his
perspective on the last lap shuffle, emphasizing
the competitive nature of racing: “I expected that
Toprak would try, and he did. I saw nothing dirty;
it was clean. We fought hard, and that’s what
matters.”
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati)
expressed mixed feelings after narrowly missing
out on victory in Race 1: “I didn’t have a lot of
experience managing tires, but until the last lap,
I was doing an incredible job. I have to be happy
with second place in my first full race.”
Jonathan Rea (Pata Prometeon Yamaha)
celebrated his first points haul of the season after
a challenging start: “We have to trust the process
and believe that we can make progress. We’ve
had a lot of challenges this year, but I remain
patient and optimistic about our potential.”
