To Oskarshamn
When you make your way to the Småland Coast and
Oskarshamn, you’re about the same distance from each
of Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm.
It’s easy to get to Oskarshamn by car or by using one of the daily
bus services from many cities in Sweden. A number of bus companies
offer services; Flixbus has a direct connection to 15 other
towns and Vy Bus4You to 9 towns, and then there’s Silverlinjen,
which runs between Öland/Kalmar and Stockholm.
If you would like to fly, the nearest airport is Kalmar Öland Airport,
which is served by several routes and carriers. You might want
to combine your visit to the Småland Coast with a trip to Gotland
by catching the ferry between Gotland and Oskarshamn. There are
also several options for travelling by train. If you’re arriving by train
to Kalmar, Berga or Västervik you can take a bus connection to your
final destination.

To the competitions
Stages 1 and 2
Since the autumn issue of the O-Ringen Magazine, we have
managed to secure large areas for parking at O-Ringen City and
at Rosenfors Arena, to use on the first two competition days. This
means that all buses can travel to the same place at O-Ringen City.
The satellite parking will not be in use on these two days but will
be open as planned for Stage 3.
We invite competitors staying to the west of Oskarshamn or closer
to stages 1 and 2, or those wishing to visit other locations in the area
on these days, to travel by car to stages 1 and 2, as we have a larger
parking area there.
Parking will cost SEK 100 per day and it would be a great help to
us if anyone planning to travel by car books a parking pass in good
time. This helps us ensure that there are enough parking spaces and
to avoid having more buses than necessary travelling from O-Ringen
City. You can book passes via our booking portal at oringen.se – go
to “Activities and other services”.
Stage 3
Gunnarsö Arena is around 4 km from O-Ringen City. The walking
and cycling route will be signed.
For those cycling to the arena, there is a dedicated area to park bikes.
Kalmar local bus service 701 will also have extra buses running
on a route passing through the campsite area every 15 minutes,

Arena Döderhultsdalen
with 2-3 buses in each convoy. The journey time will be around 25
minutes.
For those travelling by car, park at the satellite parking and take
the stage bus to the arena. The journey time will be around 20
minutes.
Stages 4 and 5
Döderhultsdalen Arena is within walking distance of O-Ringen City.
For those cycling there, there is a dedicated area to park bikes. If
you’re travelling by car, there is parking at O-Ringen City and then a
walk of 200 m-2 km.

Ditch the map and compass, travel
using Kalmar’s regional public transport!
Between 22 nd –28 th July, Kalmar Länstrafik (regional pubic
transport) is offering a 50% discount on 24-hour tickets
within the Kalmar region. As well as that, all competitors
can show their number bib to travel free on bus 701 in
Oskarshamn throughout the week.
During O-Ringen week there will be many opportunities to get to,
from and between competitions using public transport. Kalmar
Länstrafik will provide extra buses to and from O-Ringen. The
easiest way to plan your journey and look at departure times and
ticket prices is by using the Kalmar Länstrafik app.

If you’re travelling with your bike
It is possible to take bikes onto many of our vehicles, however
