Am 5. März wurde Innenminister Norbert Reul ausgezeichnet, der seit 2017 in seinem Ministerium besonders intensiv Missbrauchstäter verfolgt. Wolfgang Rolshoven, Baas der <strong>Düsseldorf</strong>er Jonges, und Laudatorin Prof. Dr. Stefanie Ritz-Timme, die Präsidentin der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Gerichtsmedizin, würdigten beide in ihren Reden Norbert Reul als »Kümmerer«, der durch seine Arbeit auch die Öffentlichkeit sensibilisiere. Die Preisverleihung fand im Forum der Stadtsparkasse an der Berliner Allee statt und wurde von zahlreichen prominenten Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Medizin und Gesellschaft begleitet.
