This spring, Taunton Brewhouse invite you on a magical
journey into the world of theatre as the nation’s favourite
storybook characters leap from page to stage.
Get ready to tumble down the rabbit
hole with Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland, dance the night away at
Spot’s Birthday Party, and roar with
delight as The Lion Inside comes
to life in a show-stopping musical
extravaganza.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! There’s
plenty of opportunities to get creative
with Easter activities for all the family.
Try pom pom making and sun printing,
take part in a media masterclass with
Somerset Film, or even dust up on your
drama skills with an intensive physical
theatre course led by Edinburgh Fringe
favourites, Spies Like Us Theatre.
As spring turns to summer, the
delightfully chaotic The Tiger Who
Came to Tea comes to town, followed
by Top Secret – The Magic of Science
and the popular High Jinx Show,
packed full of amazing magic, incredible
illusions, and crazy circus thrills that are
sure to leave you speechless.
Top comedians Rosie Jones (Mission:
Accessible, Trip Hazard), Matt Chorley
(Have I Got News for You), and Ivo
Graham (Taskmaster, Off Menu) also
complete the line-up, along with live
music from award-winning musicians
Steeleye Span, The Fureys, Clare Teal,
and more.
The theatre’s LEARN programme
also relaunches in April with new
workshops and classes for all ages
and abilities. From calligraphy to
polymer clay, and needle felting to
yarn making, there’s something for
everyone to explore this season.
