Scholarships at Taunton School recognise talent, dedication,
and a passion for learning and can be gained in a variety of
fields, including academic, music, drama, and sport. They
can be applied for at 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9) and 16+ (Sixth
Form).
Assisted places are supported by the Taunton School
Foundation. With an extraordinary range of opportunities,
both inside and outside the classroom, we are passionate
about enabling young people to find their exceptional. We
understand that being able to attend an independent school
can be life-changing but is not always viable financially. This
is why we actively fundraise for our assisted places scheme
which allows us to help as many families as possible.
Over the many years that we have supported students to
become part of Taunton School, it is clear that those who
have been awarded scholarships or assisted places are
ambitious, work hard and often go on to hold positions of
responsibility in our community. They understand that the
education they are receiving is a privilege and will serve them
well for the future and their transition into adult life.
